The Nursing Council does not require specific length of nursing practice experience from overseas nurses.
However, proper assessment and verification is applied. Nurses with hospital experience have distinct advantage.

Salary of Registered New Zealand NurseThe salary range is from NZD$40,000 to NZD$55,000 per annum. The salary varies depending on the work assigned, the Healthcare Institution, as well as the experience of the nurse.
Option for Filipino Nurses who are unable to meet the IELTS Requirement
If a Filipino nurse is unable to meet the IELTS (7.0) requirement of the Nursing Council of New Zealand, the nurse may complete a Healthcare Programme called Aged Care Education (ACE Programme) for 12 weeks in New Zealand. Then, look for employment as a HealthCare Assistant, take the IELTS examination in New Zealand and eventually become a Registered Nurse.
